We designed a memorial for the eight residents of this town who perished in the 9-11 terrorist attacks. In a quiet area of the townships’ central Taylor Park, along the Rahway River a new brick path lined with eight cherry trees, for each resident, leads to a small circular plaza  with a stone wall that is set off center. There are three granite panels, two of which have four names engraved and the central panel describing the event. It is meant as a contemplative space for which to come and reflect.
