388 Bridge Street, Brooklyn

For this tallest residential tower in Brooklyn, we designed the 4,950sf 5th floor terrace. The amenity space includes a large outdoor dining area with a stone clad grill and cooking area, a custom designed play structure with two slides, a rock climbing wall and extensive landscaping.   The planting defines the terrace spaces with a row of flowering dogwoods, multi-stem birch trees and a multitude of herbaceous perennials and grasses for seasonal color and interest.

Basking Ridge Office Park

A large central courtyard connects two large Class A Office buildings. The renovation included extensive landscape enhancements, repurposing an old concrete fountain with a central planting feature and new stone seat wall and three new stone patio areas for outdoor dining and impromptu meetings. The new plantings have added a layered dimension to an otherwise bland landscape of trees and lawn with colorful herbaceous perennials, shrubs, flowering trees and a rain garden to capture stormwater.

Florham Park Office Park

A redesign of the exterior central courtyard plaza and landscaping for an office building complex for multiple tenant users. The design provides for new textured paving, outdoor seating and extensive low maintenance landscaping.

202 8th Street

For a new condominium in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn, we have designed all the outdoor amenity spaces including an entry courtyard that has the feel of an urban pocket park, and two community roof gardens. The roof garden on the first floor features a stone hearth and dining area.  The rooftop garden will have a bar, grill and dining area with extensive landscaping.

This residential building in Long Island City, designed by Cetra Ruddy Architects,  has a uniquely large amenity space with an expansive outdoor courtyard. The courtyard  features a cascading water fall built into the sloping central lawn.  Around this central green are areas for dining, lounging and socializing for the residents.

Office Park: Livingston, NJ

This office park consists of six - one story buildings with courtyards and park like spaces. The landscape design follows the geometric layout of the site with masses of ornamental grasses and boxwood hedges which also thrive in this heavily deer inhabited environment. The choice of plant material is intended to change throughout the seasons, providing color, texture, and movement.

Seapointe Village: Lower Township, NJ

Green Roof Award of Excellence

This project in a resort community on the New Jersey Shore, encompasses almost two acres of landscaped plaza over top a parking garage. The space is created between three seven story condominium buildings abutting the Atlantic Ocean in Cape May County and a town house development on the other side. The gardens include lagoons, fountains, pool, spas, seating areas, outdoor dining areas and extensive landscaping. We were brought in to redesign the plaza, because the buildings were undergoing a complete renovation to the roof structure. Our team created a sustainable rooftop garden that enhances the seaside garden environment while maintaining its functionality and high aesthetic value.
