Two projects with the NYCSCA have been recently completed. At PS 175 in Queens, it was requested to create an attractive buffer around the school grounds. A custom steel picket fence was built on a new concrete curb around the front and decorative metal edging around the side yard with hardy landscaping. The second project, is a playground at PS 100 in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn. The playground area is on the jointly owned Century Playground with the NYCDPR. The design features a nautical theme as it is only a few blocks from the shoreline and consist of painted games on the new asphalt pavement and a play structure set on rubber safety tiles.
