HAGGERTY ADMINSTRATION & STUDENT UNION ROOF PLAZA

The renovation for this 18,000 square foot plaza includes creating a new roof garden with extensive planting that provides year-round seasonal interest through the use of flowering trees, perennials, grasses for texture and bulbs for spring bloom.  The intent was to select plants that are drought hardy, full sun tolerant and require low amounts of fertilizer and overall maintenance. In addition to the new planters, a large paved plaza was reconstructed to allow for multi-functional activities.

Edgewater Design acted as consultant to Hoffman Architect – responsible for the new waterproofing system and roof pavers on the plaza.
