New York City School Construction Authority
Two projects with the NYCSCA have been recently completed. At PS 175 in Queens, it was requested to create an attractive buffer around the school grounds. A custom steel picket fence was built on a new concrete curb around the front and decorative metal edging around the side yard with hardy landscaping. The second project is a playground at PS 100 in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn. The playground area is on the jointly owned Century Playground with the NYCDPR. The design features a nautical theme as it is only a few blocks from the shoreline and consist of painted games on the new asphalt pavement and a play structure set on rubber safety tiles.
